TERMS OF USE
This page is designed to provide additional information about the website to support your purchases. It contains details of Postage Rates, Paying by Pay Pal, paying by Cheque, Conditions of Items for Sale, Wants Lists, Collections/Items bought and Contact Address.
Postage Rates
Postage rates are set at one rate of £2 per item, which covers postage and packing for any format ie 7", 12", LP or CD for anywhere in the world. UK items are posted as 'Recorded Delivery' and overseas are posted as 'Air Mail' (small packages). This simplifies the process when ordering, and ensures your order will be packaged and delivered safely.
Paying by Pay Pal
All items for sale on this website can be bought instantly by clicking the 'Pay pal' option in the Payment section within the Checkout procedure. Pay pal is the preferred method of payment, as it is easy to operate, and guarantees purchase on completion. All Vinyl and CD sales purchased via Pay Pal will automatically appear as 'SOLD' when your transaction is completed. Please note there is no charge added by soultunes.co.uk for payments by Pay Pal.
NB - Once you have added the downloads you want in the checkout basket, tick pay by pay pal and then enter the pay pal address and then password, and follow through to payment. You need to return back to the site by clicking on the appropriate icon, do not exit pay pal direct and then try to go back to the site or you will lose the automatic link. From pay pal back to the site, you will be taken to the collect goods part of the checkout process where you can collect downloads automatically and open/save to you PC. If you make a mistake and are unable to get the downloads automatically, just e-mail us and we will e-mail the tracks back to you, but if you follow these simple steps you should be able to collect the tracks automatically.
Paying by Cheque
If you want to pay by cheque, then click the 'Cheque' option in the Payment section within the Checkout procedure. This will create an automatic e-mail. We will reserve the item for a period of 10 days only. We reserve the right to represent the item for sale again, if payment is not received within the 10 day time period. Please note that a Pay Pal payment from another customer may automatically 'over-ride' a Cheque payment, as reservations of items is administered manually by soultunes.co.uk staff on receipt of an automated e-mail. However, as we do not operate a 24hour administration service, a Pay Pal purchase may automatically acquire any item before the e-mail to purchase by Cheque can be affected. This is the main reason for the preferred method of payment being Pay Pal.
Conditions of Items for Sale
Where possible the items for sale have been graded fairly, using standard descriptions, which conform to industry standards. All items have been graded visually, and in some cases audible checks have been made.
Mint/Mint- - refers to 'as new' or 'un-played'
Excellent - refers to 'clean' record, which obviously has been played but remains near to mint condition
VG - refers to used item which may have some light surface marks, which should play with minimal audible noise, the label may have some writing or small tears., but still a nice record
G - refers to noticeably used item with visible surface marks, which may or not effect playing, some audible noise may be evident
Please note that +/- signs have been used to further classify the condition of the item, eg VG+ would be considered better condition than a VG etc.
All items can be returned for a full refund within 10 days of purchase if for any reason you are not satisfied with the condition, or disagree with the grading provided on the website.
Wants Lists
There is an icon at the top right of the Home Page, which you can use to send an e-mail listing your particular wants. This can cover both Vinyl and CD purchases, as we carry stocks of thousands of records not currently listed, and also downloads. We have currently prepared some 12,000 items for downloads and still have thousands more to process. If there is a particular item you are looking for, then just let us know, and hopefully, we will be able to jump the queue and load the item on the website sooner rather than later. At present, we are literally trawling through the items one by one, creating downloads and samples, which is extremely time-consuming.
Collections & Items Bought
We will consider any relevant items you may have for sale, and any quantity small or large will be considered. Please e-mail a list of items you have for sale, with as many details as possible eg Artist, Title ‘a’ & ‘b’, Label, Condition etc.
